All About Material Advantage

Our Material Advantage student chapter is a student group that empowers students to advance their academic careers and create a solid foundation for engaging the world as a professional upon graduation. The outlook for the 2021-2022 year includes guest speakers, industry partner events, socials, outreach at local middle schools, volunteer opportunities, and the TMS Bladesmithing competition.

All students are welcome to join! Our chapter is open to anyone interested in materials and becoming a national member of Material Advantage provides students with even more resources to make the most of their Materials Science experience! National members gain access to:
