UA Material Advantage

About Us

Our Material Advantage student chapter is a student group that empowers students to advance their academic careers and create a solid foundation for engaging the world as a professional upon graduation. The purpose of this chapter is to promote a self-sought increasing knowledge of metallurgy, ceramics, polymers, materials science and engineering and all its branches and to instill a professional pride in members' life work. The outlook for the 2021-2022 academic year includes guest speakers, industry partner events, socials, outreach at local middle schools, volunteer opportunities, and the TMS Bladesmithing competition.
